Shipping To Russia

Unless you are having your order shipped to a commercial building, there are additional requirements needed to ensure delivery to a private address. Before we ship your order, we want to make sure you are aware of what is needed to properly receive a shipment to Russia. It requires you to be proactive about your shipment, especially if a problem arises.

1) Please be aware that your email and phone contact information is required so that the carrier can contact you if there is a problem. Not providing this accurately may result in the package returning to Chess House. If the package is returned, all shipping expenses will not be refunded.
2) Once the tracking number is provided to you, you need to contact FedEx Moscow to get their approval to receive the shipment.
3) Simultaneously with accepting a parcel, FedEx's manager instructs the broker to prepare docs for custom clearance. Typically you would then receive an email and SMS to add info about the parcel into your account. You need to check the weight, price, enter the Russian name of goods, upload our invoice (a link to this is in your order confirmation email), and link it to our website's goods.
4) After the pre-approving of custom authorities, you receive an invoice for customs duties, which you can then pay by card.
